After logging in to Powtoon, you will reach the Workspace page. This is the page to access when you want to create a new Powtoon.

You can create a new Powtoon using either of the following methods:
1. Use a ready-made template
2. Start from scratch with a blank Powtoon

Use a ready-made template (Edit mode)
A ready-made template requires only minimal editing, enabling you to create a Powtoon quickly and easily. When you use a template, the Powtoon Studio opens, by default, in Edit mode:

Start from scratch with a blank Powtoon (Create mode)
When you start a Powtoon from scratch, the Powtoon Studio opens, by default, in Create mode:
This mode provides you with access to all the Powtoon tabs (scenes, background, text, characters, etc.) and displays the timeline at the bottom of the slide. In this mode, you can:
- Create a Powtoon by selecting content from any of the Powtoon tabs and libraries
- Control the timing of the objects on the slide by using the timeline
Click Blank to get started:

Notes:
For example: If you began working in Edit mode and then switched to Create mode
before saving your Powtoon, your Powtoon will subsequently be opened in Create
mode.
1. When creating your Powtoon, you can switch between Edit and Create modes.
2. Once you create your Powtoon, it will be opened in the Studio according to the last mode in
which it was saved.
