A Powtoon look is a design theme that determines the tone of the video. Currently, there are four looks:

In order to maintain design consistency, each look includes characters, props, shapes, and other objects that have been designed specifically for the look. This ensures that your Powtoon will have a consistent and coherent look and feel.
- When you create a Powtoon from scratch (blank Powtoon), you will need to select the look before beginning work.
- When you create a Powtoon from a template, the look is automatically selected for the Powtoon but can be changed.
Selecting a look for a new Powtoon
- On the My Powtoons page, click Blank Powtoon.

- The four looks (Animation, Whiteboard, Cartoon, Video) will be displayed. Hover over each look to see a sample of characters and backgrounds specific to the look.

- Select the look that matches your requirements. A blank Powtoon will open in the Powtoon Studio. The look that you selected will be displayed in the upper right corner of the screen and the libraries (scenes, background, characters, props, shapes) will contain objects specifically designed for the look you selected.

Changing a look in an existing Powtoon
After selecting a look, you can always change to a different one.
- In the Powtoon Studio, make sure that you are working in Create mode.

- Click the triangle by the name of the current look.

- A page displaying the four looks will open. Select the look that you would like to change to.

The Powtoon will now be associated with the look that you selected:
