This article is relevant only if your subscription plan includes a fixed number of premium exports.
After your Powtoon has been exported using a premium export, the exported version becomes "locked" and only minor edits can be made to the Powtoon using Revision mode.
When you export your Powtoon after editing it in Revision mode, you will not be using a premium export and your export balance will not be affected.
If you need to make substantial changes to the Powtoon, you will need to duplicate the Powtoon, make changes to the new Powtoon, and then export it. This export will be counted as a premium export.

- From the Toolbox ,go to My Powtoons and click the 3 vertical dots.
- Click Edit.
The Powtoon will open in the Studio, in Revision mode.
3. Edit your Powtoon according to what is required. The following actions can be performed in
Revision mode:
a. Edit text
b. Reposition objects on the slide
c. Change the timing of objects on the timeline
d. Enter and exit effects
e. Swap music
f. Change aspect ratio

4. After you have finished editing, click Publish Revision.
Your Powtoon will preview automatically.
5. Click Publish Revision.
6. Select the format to which you want to publish your Powtoon and follow the on-screen
instructions.

Note:
Your revised Powtoon can be published an unlimited number of times to any formats that you select.

Only a Powtoon that has been previously exported will open in Revision Mode
