A Powtoon can be played in either of the following modes:
- Movie
- Slideshow
Important:
You can apply these modes both when previewing your Powtoon and when playing the Powtoon on the player page.
Movie mode
In this mode, the Powtoon will play continuously, as a movie.
Slideshow mode
In this mode, each slide in the Powtoon will pause 1 second before the end of the slide. This is referred to as the holding point.
You will need to advance the slide manually using the slideshow mode controls.

Important:
When exporting your Powtoon to PowerPoint or creating a PDF, a screenshot will be taken of each slide at the holding point. This is what will be displayed in the PowerPoint presentation and PDF document.
