How to mark fonts as favorites in Powtoon Studio

If you use certain fonts regularly, marking them as favorites saves you time by keeping them in one easy-to-reach list inside the font picker. This article covers how to add a font to your favorites and how to remove one.

Adding a font to your favorites

To mark a font as a favorite in Powtoon Studio:

1. Select any text element on the stage.
2. Click the Settings gear icon that appears in the text toolbar. The text formatting panel opens.
3. Click the name of the current font. The full font list opens.
4. Locate the font you want to mark as a favorite.
5. Hover over that font. A star icon appears to the right of the font name.
6. Click the star. The font is added to your favorites and appears in the Favorites section at the top of the font list.

Note: The star icon is only visible when you hover over a font row. If you do not see it, move your cursor directly over the font name.

Removing a font from your favorites

To remove a font from your favorites list in Powtoon Studio:

1. Select any text element on the stage.
2. Click the Settings gear icon in the text toolbar. The text formatting panel opens.
3. Click the name of the current font. The font list opens, showing your Favorites section at the top.
4. Hover over the font you want to remove from your favorites. The star icon appears filled or highlighted to indicate it is currently a favorite.
5. Click the star. The font is removed from your favorites list.

Note: Removing a font from your favorites does not delete it from the full font list. It remains available to use — it simply no longer appears in the Favorites section.
