Once you have added text to the slide, you can select with what effect that text appears (enters) and then disappears (exits) from the slide. For even more emphasis, sound can be added to these effects.
Applying an enter or exit effect
- In the Powtoon Studio, make sure that you are working in Create mode.
- Select the text that you want to work on.
► The current enter and exit effects are displayed on the timeline.
3. On the timeline, click the effect that you want to work on. In the example below, the enter effect
is selected.

4. Select the effect that best matches how you want your text to appear on the slide.

5.Optional: Click Add Hand if you want to add a hand (male or female) to the effect you
selected in the previous step. This will create an effect of a human hand moving the text onto
the slide.

6.Optional: Click Add Sound if you want to add a sound to the effect you selected.

Notes
- After you change an enter or exit effect, the change is reflected on the timeline with an icon representing the new effect.
- After selecting an effect, Add Hand and Add Sound are changed to Change Hand and Change Sound, respectively.
