Powtoon is integrated with the leading stock image websites, providing you with access to millions of images.
Using keywords, you can search the image libraries from within Powtoon. All images accessed via Powtoon are free for use and have been designated as license-free.
As with other objects in the Powtoon Studio, the subscription plan that you hold determines what images you can use in your Powtoon.

Important:
In the Powtoon Studio, you need to be working in Create mode in order to add an image.
- Navigate to the slide to which you want to add an image.
- Select the Images tab to access the two image libraries: Storyblocks Premium and Free Images.
► If you are subscribed to a classroom plan, the Free Images library is not available.
- Depending on where you want to search, click in one of the following search bars:
a: Searches both image libraries.
b: Searches only in Storyblocks Premium images.
c: Searches only in Free Images.
- In the search bar, type what you are looking for and press Enter.
In the example below, a search was run for library in Storyblocks Premium.
- Scroll through the results. While scrolling, you can hover over an image thumbnail to see a preview.
- Select the image that you want for your Powtoon. The image is added to both the slide and to My Images, your personal image library, ready for future use.
Note:
If you would like the image to be the entire slide background, click the background icon.
- To clear the search results, click the X in the search bar.
