Any type of image in your Powtoon can be cropped. This includes both images that you upload and images that you find in the Powtoon libraries.
- In your slide, select the image that you want to crop.

- Click Settings.

- On the Settings menu, click Crop.

A rectangle, with dashed borders, will be placed on the image.
The image within the borders is the default cropped image.
On each side of the rectangle are handles that you will use to crop the image according to the dimensions that you require.

Note:
The handles in the corners will resize the image by both height and width proportionately while the handles on the sides will resize the height and width independently.

4. With your mouse, hover over the handle that you want to use for cropping until it changes to
an arrow.
5. Click and drag the mouse to crop the desired section.

Note:
You can also enlarge the image by extending the borders. Do this by dragging the arrows outwardly instead of inwardly.
In the example below, the sky has been cropped out and the image has been extended to the right to include more scenery.

6. After you have finished cropping, click with your mouse anywhere outside of the image.
The cropped image will be displayed.
