While Powtoon currently does not have a dedicated feature for displaying a scrolling web page, the workaround described in this article can be used to add animation that simulates a scrolling effect.
Important:
Before you begin, you will need to capture an image of the entire scrolling area of a web page that includes the area beyond the area visible on the screen. Only this type of image will be suitable for simulating the scrolling effect.
- In the slide panel, click the slide thumbnail you want to work on.
- On the right toolbar, click Media.
- Click anywhere on the My Media library.
- Click Add media and upload the image that you captured.
- Enlarge the image and then move it so that the upper border is positioned at the top of the slide, as in the screenshot below. Most of the image will be out of view.
- Click the Settings gear on the image.
- On the pop-up menu, click A to B.
A duplicate of the image will be added on top of the original image.
8. Move the duplicate image so that it completely covers the original image and position the
bottom border at the bottom of the slide, as in the screenshot below.

9. Click Play slide to view the scrolling effect. By default, the duration of the scrolling is
1.5 seconds. Click here to learn how to change the duration.

Note:
To cancel the scrolling effect, select the image and then click Cancel 'A to B'.
