By default, the duration of an object's movement between two points is 1.5 seconds.
You can increase or decrease this duration.

Important:
The speed of the movement is determined by the movement's duration on the timeline.
Short duration of movement = object moves fast.
Long duration of movement = object moves slowly.
Long duration of movement = object moves slowly.
The minimum duration of the movement is 0.5 seconds and the maximum duration of the movement equals the object's duration on the timeline.
In the example below:
1. The character is displayed on the slide from 1 second until 9 seconds.
2. The current (default) movement duration is 1.5 seconds
(from 1 second until 2.5 seconds).

(from 1 second until 2.5 seconds).
To change the duration of the movement:
- On the stage, select the object that is being moved.
- Note the following two areas on the timeline:
- Dark blue area: used to define the duration of an object's movement
- Light blue area: used to define the duration of an object's display
- With your mouse, drag the right handle of the dark blue area to when you want the movement to end, or the left handle of the dark blue area to when you want the movement to begin.
In the example below:
The character enters the scene at 2 seconds, begins the movement at 4 seconds for a duration of 3 seconds. The character leaves the scene at 9 seconds.
