In the Powtoon you create, you may want to display an object on the slide for several seconds before it begins moving. An example for this is a car that is displayed standing and then moves to the other side of the slide.
While Powtoon currently does not have a dedicated feature for this functionality, the workaround described in this article can be used to produce this effect.

- Add the object to the stage.

- Select the object and then position its tab on the timeline according to when you want the object to appear. In the example below, the car will appear on the slide after two seconds.

- Set the exit effect of the object to No Effect.

- Drag the right edge of the object's duration to when you want the object to begin moving and position the playhead at this point.
In the example below, the car will begin moving at 4 seconds.

- With the object still selected, copy the object and then paste the duplicate exactly on top of the original object using the following keyboard shortcut:
For Mac: ⌘ + Shift + V
For PC: Ctrl + Shift + V

- Set the enter effect of the duplicate object to No Effect.

- With the duplicate object selected, click Settings and then A to B.
Note:
You can tell which object is selected on the stage by looking at the tag that is selected (colored blue) on the timeline.

- Drag the duplicate object to the desired destination.

- Set the speed of the movement using the right edge of the dark blue slider.

In the example below (following the steps in this article), the car displays at 2 seconds and begins moving only at 4 seconds:
