- Add your text and position the text box on the stage.
- Select the text box and then copy it using the right-click menu.
- Right-click anywhere on the stage and click Paste.
- Drag the duplicate text box (the 'shadow' text) beneath the original text box so that it will be easier to work on.
- Change the color of the shadow text so that it contrasts with the original text.
- Position the shadow text next to the original text.
- Select the shadow text box (in the example below - gray text).
- Right-click the text box and then click Send to back on the menu.
- Fine-tune the positioning so that the shadow text contrasts nicely with the original text and looks like a shadow.
- On the timeline, group the tags of the two text boxes together so that all the text (original and shadow) appears together on the slide.
