If you've created a design in Canva, you can export it to Powtoon and use it as a base for creating your video. Inside the Powtoon Studio, you can use all the content available to convert your design from a static image to a highly professional video.
Notes:
1. Before your first export, you'll need to connect Powtoon to your Canva account. This is done only once.
2. The Powtoon stage area is 1920 (width) x 1080 (height) in pixels.
3. Your Canva design will be displayed in the Powtoon stage according to its actual size. For this reason, we recommend using the Canva Presentation or Instagram Post templates for best results.
Connecting Powtoon to your Canva account
- In Canva, create or open an existing design.
- Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the editor.
- Scroll down and select Powtoon.
- Click Connect.
- Log in to your Powtoon account.
Powtoon is added to the export options.
Exporting your Canva design to Powtoon
- Open the Canva design that you want to export.
- Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the editor and then select Powtoon.
► You may need to click See all to see the Powtoon option.

- Select the pages that you want to export and then click Save.
- Click View in Powtoon.
The converted Canva design is added to My Powtoons in your Workspace.
5. Edit the Powtoon with all the available content in the Powtoon Studio.
Disconnecting Canva from your Powtoon account
- Access your account settings and then click Apps & integrations.
- Click Disconnect by the Canva integration.
- If you are sure that you want to disconnect, click Disconnect again.
Canva is disconnected from your Powtoon account.
