Powered by Google VEO 2, turn your ideas into amazing video footage with just a few words. You can create videos from the Workspace, or directly from the Powtoon Studio. All the videos you generate are saved in the My Video section of your Powtoon account.

Using Text to Video from the Workspace
- Click on the Create with AI button.
- Click on the AI text to Video module.
- Select Veo2
- Describe your video.
- Select the Aspect Ratio and the length of the video. Veo2 does not support Audio. If you want Audio in your video, check out the guide for Text to Video (Veo3).
- Click Generate video.
- In just a few moments, you're video will be created.
- Click on the Play button to preview the video.
- If you are happy with the video, you can use it in the Studio, regenerate the same video, or add a different prompt and generate a new video.

Using Text to Video from the Studio
When using Text to Video inside of the Powtoon Studio, you have the option to add a single reference image to help guide the AI generation. The image will be used as the initial keyframe for your video.
- Click on the Videos tab on the right side of the studio.
- Click the Generate Video thumbnail.
- Select Veo2
- If you want, add a reference image. The image will act as the first frame of the video.
- Describe your video.
- Select the Aspect Ratio and the length of the video. Veo2 does not support Audio. If you want Audio in your video, check out the guide for Text to Video (Veo3).
- Click Generate video.
- In just a few moments, you're video will be created.
- Click on the Play button to preview the video.
- If you are happy with the video, you can add it to your scene, regenerate the same video, or add a different prompt and generate a new video.

Costs per Use
Text to Video costs 5 credits per second. The minimum video length is 5 seconds (25 credits), while the maximum video length is 8 seconds (40 credits).
