If you have an existing PowerPoint file, you can import it into Powtoon and use it as the starting point for a new Powtoon. Once converted, you can awesomize it using all the tools available in Powtoon Studio.
This feature is currently in beta. Some PowerPoint elements are not carried over during import — see What is and is not imported below for the full list.
Before you start
Your file must be in PPTX format before you import it. Powtoon cannot import any other file format, including older PowerPoint formats (.ppt), Google Slides exports, or Apple Keynote files.
If your file is in one of those formats, save or export it as a PPTX file first, then return here to import it.
The maximum supported file size is 100 MB.
Note: You can also use a PowerPoint file with the Anything to Video AI generator to produce a complete Powtoon in seconds. See Anything to Video for more information.

Notes:
- A soundtrack is added to your Powtoon by default after import. You can swap it for any other ready-made soundtrack. See Swapping Music for more information.
- If the background in your PowerPoint was applied using the slide master, it will not be converted. You will need to apply a new background manually. See Adding a Background for more information.
