How to send a copy of your Powtoon to another user

You can send a copy of any Powtoon you own to another person directly from your My Powtoons page. The recipient receives an email notification with a link to access their copy. Your original Powtoon is not changed.

Before you start

The recipient does not need an existing Powtoon account. If they do not have one, they will be prompted to create an account before they can access the copy.

How to send a copy of your Powtoon

1. Go to your My Powtoons page.
2. Locate the Powtoon you want to send.
3. Click the three-dot menu next to that Powtoon.
4. Select Send a copy from the menu.
5. In the dialog that appears, enter the recipient's email address. To send to more than one person, press Enter after each email address to add it to the list.
6. Click Send a copy to confirm.

What happens next

A copy of the Powtoon is sent to each recipient. Each person receives an email notification containing a link. When they click the link, they are taken to their own Workspace where the copy appears and is ready to open.

The recipient can edit their copy freely. Any changes they make do not affect your original Powtoon.

Notes

1. Only a copy is sent — your original Powtoon remains unchanged in your Workspace.
2. Recipients who do not yet have a Powtoon account will be prompted to sign up before they can access the copy.
